[APK] Google Play Store version 6.8 activates the "beta" tab in "My applications"

Beta tester

Last week the Play Store included a number of features for the beta test in its version 6.7, but what happened is that they disappeared quickly when reverting the Google process from a change from the server side. The company has already announced a series of improvements to Google Play that would include major changes to the developer console.

Finally we can say that the beta testing options have appeared again for users who are in version 6.8 of the Google Play Store. What it really adds is a tab new call "beta" that will appear when you go to the «My applications» screen. Apart from the two tabs for life such as "Installed" and "All", you will have that new one called "Beta".

This update arrives from the server side, so it may happen that, even if you have version 6.8, it is not active. This update from the server adds the "Beta" tab from which you can access all those applications in which you participate in the beta.

Play Store Beta

When you click on any of these apps, you will see a welcome message just below the name indicating that you are a beta tester of the application. Below you have the option to contact the developer to share your feedback or possible errors that you have found, so that at the end of all the information of the application, can you exit the beta at all times; something quite useful if you want to go back to the final version and thus not be the guinea pig for some apps that you want to always work fully.

With that said, now open betas are included from the Play Store, as it happens with Maps, instead of clicking on a specific URL to become a tester. You can download the APK of version 6.8 to check that you already have the tab active.
