Android 4.1 will not support Flash Player

Adobe had already warned since the end of last year that it would stop developing Flash Player for mobile phones, and although it seemed that it had only been a warning, the company once again reiterates its decision by announcing that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will not have Flash Player support.

In a post on their official blog, Adobe said they haven't even tested Flash Player running on Android 4.1 and they do not plan to develop in the future some version for this platform, noting that Jelly Bean will not offer certified implementations of Flash Player.

But since there will surely be many users with Android 4.0 with Flash who update to Android 4.1, Adobe has recommended that in the new version uninstall this pluginSince it is not certified for use, it may have a bad behavior, in addition to being exposed to all kinds of vulnerabilities since they will not be able to install new updates.

On the other hand, to start reducing the use of Flash Player in previous versions of Android, Adobe also confirmed that as of August 15 Flash already will not be available on Google Play, and access to downloads will be limited to devices that have official Adobe certification, that is, those that have Flash installed at the factory. Adobe will continue to release new updates for these devices, but only to correct major security issues or issues, as has been done so far.

Although you can take the opportunity to freely download Flash Player before August 15, Adobe also warns that if your device is not officially certified, it is very likely that in future updates of the plugin it will lose compatibility. So, the best thing is to get used to not depending on Flash at all (at least on mobile phones) and look for new alternatives supported by HTML 5 and web standards.

I find it transparent to iPhone (iOS) with Adobe because Android is very favorite for its use of playing videos from the browser and it is more sold for that function since iPhone cannot display flash content, for me that is jealousy: T

Yes, you can install adobe flash player on devices higher than android 4.1 but you have to download it from the apptoide, what happens is that the engel ones end up saying very soon that you can't because flash player doesn't support but the free android community does What gives it for the superior devices if not like me with my android 4.1 tv mygica atv 12000 I have flash version 11 and with my lgf60 quadcore with kikat 4.4.4 I installed it from the apptoide and the flash player is great for me. You will finish the engel support very soon and also if the apptoide flash player could not be installed in the engel quadcore it is a reason of great weight to return the product to the store, who loses more in this story is engel not the customer , remember it engel and give force support to the flash player for your new quadcore.

I write that badly because I don't feel like entertaining myself.
