Last week a series of captures was leaked that reflect what would be the important changes in the interface of Android 12. It would be part of what is called "NEXT" by Material Design, that language that changed everything for Android in recent years.
Those images come from a document Google shared with its OEM partners and they are more like mockups of the visual improvement in the supposedly Android 12 interface. Those filtered images contained some important parts of the interface such as the notifications panel, the home, the privacy settings and the camera app.
It will not be a simple change in theme
And it is that the changes that they come will be deeper than a mere topic which could be understood as one of the system to decorate it, but there is much more than what was initially thought.
As far as we know, internally Google has named some of the changes to the interface as the beginning towards what would be Material with «NEXT». A design language that has evolved at the same time as the same manufacturer brands that have adopted it to give it their own touch; we could talk about that Samsung One UI 3.0.
It remains uncertain whether "NEXT" will be like the name for Material Design 2.0, as it may simply be like the next important evolution Google would have called it that to show what would be next renowned.

Changes to Always on Display and Lock Screen in Android 12
