This new update is added to the existing ones for the month of November related to capacities multilingual assistant from Amazon called Alexa. That is, Alexa continues to improve those capabilities so that we can invoke it and it can make translations in real time as we talk with another person.
We simply activate this new functionality by saying "Alexa, translate into Spanish". Alexa will emit a sound of a beep to warn that we can start talking with our companion and then translate the conversations we have in real time.
Even as it goes translating in real time is able to visualize the translated text on the screen of the Echo Show itself if we have this Amazon device. A great help for all types of users and establishments in which a translator is needed to help in the first steps in a hospital when we are outside our country or simply at the home of our partner's friends when we have gone out to visit them.
As an extra, Amazon has also improved pauses between phrases so that the conversations are more natural and not as rigid as it was until now. A novelty that will arrive very soon in these parts from Alexa just as similar as the one offered by Google with your Google Assistant since 2019, so if you miss this feature, you just have to try again with Alexa to have the live translation.
