A couple of days ago, from our YouTube channel, we recommended the Weather Forecast PRO application, an application that after several users advised that it could contain malware, we proceeded to check it through Virtus Total and we publish a new video in which we showed you that it was unfortunately a nest of malware.
In that same article, I commented that we did not know if it was an isolated or although all the applications of this same developer, HowarJran, contained the same type of malware. Our colleague Paco, has downloaded some of the applications that this developer makes available to us in the Play Store and has gone through them Total Virus.
To perform the analysis of the different applications available in the Play Store, we have proceeded to download the APK on a Windows 10 computer, using the APK Downloader extension available for Chrome. Following, We have accessed the Virus Total website and uploaded some of the applications.

While Apple's application monitoring process is one of the strictest and sometimes does not make much sense, the one that Google performs for applications that want to upload to the Play Store. It is unfortunate, since news continuously appears about applications that contain some type of malware, virus or Trojans that put the security of our terminal at risk.
If you have any of the applications of this developer, after watching the video, it will surely not take more than a minute to run to uninstall them. To prevent other users from being affected by Google's sloppiness and this developer's malpractice, the best we can do is report the app through the app store.
