Design and materials

Design and materials
Each earbud weighs 5,4 grams (the same as the AirPods Pro for example) and have different pads with adaptable sizes. They fit properly into the ear and do not fall off easily. Yes indeed, they do not have any type of certification regarding water resistance.
The box (with USBC charge) for its part is quite comfortable and made of a shiny material. It is compact and easy to transport, which I have found to be one of its highlights.
Configuration
Connectivity is extremely important in this type of product, for that matter we have Bluetooth 5.0 which will ensure automatic connection, although the role adopted here by the accompanying application that Huawei has available in the Google Play Store is especially relevant.
There are three connection ways:
- Traditional: Open the case and press the pairing button so they appear in the Bluetooth menu.
- Through Huawei's AI Life: The application will detect the headphones and allow us to configure the shortcuts, gestures and other capabilities such as the battery.

To operate the headphones we can perform a quick double press or hold a long press, which will result in any of the actions that we have configured:
- Play / Pause
- Next song
- Previous song
- Activate the default voice assistant
How could it be otherwise, these headphones also have a system that will detect when we are taking them off And indeed when we put them on, this way it will pause or start playing the music.
Sound quality and noise cancellation
These Magic Earbuds feature a hybrid noise cancellation system, The result is noise cancellation that softens the exterior, but is far from completely isolating us. This functionality is activated and deactivated by holding down a long press on the selected headset.
We have a differentiation of instruments that I personally liked a lot. They offer a very high quality sound, especially if we take into account the price of the product. It is clear that they are far from "premium" products, but in relation to the price they have, it seems to me that they are more than compliant.
Autonomy and use
Regarding autonomy, perhaps it is not the most noteworthy point, about two hours of music playback continued with the hybrid noise cancellation activated, something more if we deactivate it.
The microphone for calls, As you can see in the video, it offers very good results, in our tests we have not found any problem to make calls even in environments with a lot of noise. This is one of the most decisive tests for this type of headphones and we could say that the Honor Magic Earbuds have overcome it with an ease that perhaps we did not expect from a product with this price.
