Pocket Invader is an arcade shoot 'em up in which we have to put the spotlight on all those ships that will appear from all sides. One of the most classic video game genres and that every so often a new one appears in the Google Play Store for fans.
It is the retro atmosphere that Pocket Invader brings us to take us to other times and distant galaxies in which we must know how to handle ourselves to get out of those levels that lie ahead of us. A game with a good technical development and a not very high difficulty, but that manages to get hooked on the screen to get improvements and new ships.
An old fashioned shoot 'em up
Everything in Pocket Invader reminds us to those mythical titles from the 80s and 90s, who were able to conquer the hearts of many kids. The Asteroids and others got many to imagine themselves on the back of their ship shooting at any enemy that got in front of us.
The same goes for the experience given by Pocket Invader. We have one ship that fires projectiles at a rate and power Of damage. We can find special powers that leave the ships with the greatest potential in order to start firing quickly and without messing up a greater number of enemies.
Another objective is to go raising money and then improving ships from the store. Improvements such as increasing the damage, increasing the rate of fire, the speed of the projectile and many others available so that that novice ship becomes a powerful ally of the forces of good in this case.
All retro
Pocket Invader wears that retro design which fits perfectly well and sets it off as a game enjoyed by any arcade fan. The enemies follow different trajectories, and although at first we do not see much variety, especially it focuses on three with their mechanisms that we will learn quickly, we will come to face with final bosses that will shoot like demons.
Pocket Invader features a good number of levels and a map of the galaxy that will allow us to explore stars and other planets. Perfectly set, this arcade also presents the possibility of acquiring new ships, although we will have to play a lot to acquire enough money to own them. Anyway, with the necessary patience we can give another air to the games if we end up a little tired of the ship that we have at the beginning.
And always knowing that we will have a good variety of final bosses so that in a matter of a few levels we will face the first one. The thing is to go raising money and spend it on improvements to our ship so that it knows how to develop better in the middle of battle.
A good arcade completely free
Pocket Invader is a good matamarcianos arcade in which you will not find no type of micropayment. In other words, it is completely free. In any case, it may happen that in a matter of time you receive an update with new articles, and that these are the way for the developer to collect the effort carried out.
Technically it complies with what you can expect from a martian. Variety of enemies, complex trajectories, good sound, various explosive effects and a design of ships plus what is the visual style in general perfectly worked. The only thing we wish there was more variety of enemy ships in the first levels.
Pocket Invader comes to Android as a good shoot 'em up completely free and that it is placed in the perfect position to be played for many days. If you are a fan of the Matamarcianos we are already telling you to install it now, it will not disappoint you. Don't miss out on Armajet, another frenzied martian arcade to continue addicting with your Android.
