In recent years we have seen great advances in the world of smartphones, driven, more than anything, by manufacturers such as Samsung, Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi, that several years ago it was not what it is today and it did not have the weight in the market that it now boasts.
Xiaomi has characterized itself as one of the companies that most innovates in the segment, with implementations in its smartphones such as the sliding design in the Mi Mix 3 at the time, and it does not seem to stop at it, well, Like Samsung, it would launch a terminal with an invisible camera.
The scoop has been sponsored by a patent that the brand applied for in November 2018, last year. This describes a camera behind the screen and a light sensor, although it does not give great details about it. However, based on what could be pulled out, there is a secondary screen below the main screen.

The light sensor that Xiaomi would be connecting in a mobile future works with both screens, so that the camera can be visible at required times or invisible when not in use. Without a doubt, it is something we look forward to seeing how it will develop.
There are rumors that invisible on-screen cameras may be the trend in smartphone designs for the second half of the year or next year at the latest, something that would be really interesting to confirm. They would also mean better alternatives for those users looking for terminals without screen holes, pop-up snappers and notches.
In the meantime, we cannot squeeze any more juice out of this possibility and know much more about what companies have in store for us with this next innovation, which we will see first in high-end devices of the highest performance, very surely.
