Bad news: the new Xiaomi phones, the My 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra, will not be marketed globallyl, in order to only be exclusive to the Chinese territory. This has been reported by senior officials of the company, making it clear that both terminals are part of the company's anniversary and only its host country, which is China, will be where it is available for sale.
This is a complete shame, more if we speak of the Mi 10 Ultra, since this is the first smartphone to boast a 120X zoom, thus surpassing the Galaxy S20 Ultra, and the one that has now become known as the mobile with the best camera of the moment, even above the Huawei P40 Pro, according to DxOMark.
Nor will they adopt other names
Xiaomi has been characterized by launching devices with dedicated names only for the Chinese market, leaving the global versions with different ones, either with the imposed Redmi brand or another label. An example of this is the Redmi K30, which in its global version is known as Xiaomi Mi 9T.
Of course both mobiles could be imported from other countries, but perhaps they will present limitations in terms of the customization layer (which would be purely Chinese in this case) and the network connectivity options.
The truth is that we expected the firm to offer them around the world sooner rather than later, in the worst case, but not sooner or later we will be able to acquire it officially in Europe, Latin America, the United States and the rest. of the world ... This is the part in which we envy China for being the home of many of the world's leading smartphone manufacturers, as they have certain privileges, like this one.
