Samsung can be criticized for many things, like all companies, however, one of the department that does it best in the Korean company is the applications. It makes available to its customers and the rest of Android users (although not always) different applications that have become references within Android.
One of them is the Samsung Internet Browser, one of the best browsers on the market (that we can add extensions to block advertising) and that little or rather nothing has to send Chrome, a full-fledged resource hog on any platform, not just Android.
Another of Samsung's applications that has been very successful in the market is Secure Folder, an application that uses Knox technology to create a sandbox, application-independent encrypted environment. Despite being a solution intended for companies, it seems that it has become very popular among Samsung users, since the application has exceeded one billion downloads.
Secure Folder allows us to store files separately, isolate applications and add an extra layer of security via a PIN code or password. This application is ideal for when we use the smartphone for both work and personal life, since it allows the user to use it independently, as if they were two completely independent devices.
Google will release your secure folder
A few weeks ago, we published an article in which we informed you of the future launch of a secure folder by Google, a folder where we can hide everything that we do not want to be in sight of anyone who can access our phone.
For now, we do not know if the operation will be the same as that offered by SamsungAs for the possibility of installing the same application twice, so we will have to wait for its launch, although at the moment there is no scheduled date.
