A South Korean media has recently revealed that LG kicked off the development of its own artificial intelligence technology. Apparently, the company would have recently created a new division made up of two research centers that currently dedicate all their time to the development of the new technology.

According to the same medium, LG's new artificial intelligence will be available in multiple household products of the company, although its official presentation could coincide with the launch of the LG G7, the high-end phone that will debut at the beginning of next year and that will come to replace the current LG G6.

As we have already mentioned, LG's new Artificial Intelligence will arrive with support for various household products and automotive components manufactured by the company. Among other things, the new LG division will be in charge of promoting the new assistant in the robotics industry, as well as to provide the assistant to the rest of the categories of devices in the company's catalog, including mobile phones, electrical appliances, etc.

Earlier this year, LG employed the concept of deep learning in some of its products. Through this concept, the devices will be able to predict various user activities based on their past behavior. Probably the new assistant of the company will also benefit from a similar system.

Samsung presented its artificial intelligence assistant Bixby along with the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, but has already promised to offer the new assistant for a wider range of smartphones, including the Galaxy C10, which will arrive in the near future.

Meanwhile, LG is already working on the LG G7, which will have the upcoming Snapdragon 845 processor and could be the company's first smartphone to incorporate its own artificial intelligence assistant.
