The guys at Google continue to add and improve both the web service and the different applications available in all the ecosystems in which it is available. The last function that the platform is testing on Android, we find it in autoplay videos that are played without soundor, when we open the application.
Fortunately, these videos are reproduced without sound, but some users are seeing as well subtitles are displayed instead of sound, so that at any time, if we see that the content may interest us, we click on the video so that the sound begins to play. At the moment this function is only available in the Android version, neither in the web version nor in the YouTube version for other platforms.
As we can see in the video above, as we scroll through the home page, we can see that the videos that are played automatically show in turn subtitles in the language the video is in, a function that makes all the sense to the world and that to more than one of you surely comes from fable.
As is usual in this type of test, we do not know if they will finally reach the general public, but personally I think it is an excellent idea, especially when you are bored and don't know what video to watch, since it allows you to quickly get into the subject of the video. To be able to enjoy this function, it is not necessary to update the application, since it is activated through the servers. We will be attentive to see if this function finally sees the light.
