YouTube adds the new Mate 20 to its list of recommended devices to enjoy YouTube

YouTube Beta

Since the launch of Facebook's video platform, dubbed Facebook Watch, according to Mark Zuckerberg's company, the platform was growing by leaps and bounds and was dangerously close to YouTube numbers. But, once again, it has been shown that Facebook lied and that the numbers of reproductions of the Facebook Watch videos were very far from reality.

As far as 900% less than the figures indicated by the company, which logically has managed to piss off all those companies that had relied on this platform for the video format. Unlike Facebook, if we want to fully enjoy YouTube, the search giant requires a series of features in the terminals, so that they are certified and join the select club of the Recommended devices to enjoy YouTube.

The search giant, has updated list of terminals who are part of this select club by adding Huawei's new Mate 20 range: Mate 20 Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20, in addition to, of course, the new Google terminals, such as the Google Pixel 3 XL and Google Pixel 3 and the LG V40 ThingQ

For now, we can still see how there are terminals that have already been officially presented on the market, such as the OnePlus 6T, but that are not yet included in the list. This is probably because it is the company itself that has to carry out the tasks.different tests that certify that they are recommended for YouTube.

To certify as a Recommended Device it must support HDR, high frame rate, DRM compatible, 4K decoding, and use next generation video codecs. It is especially striking that at the moment, in this list no Apple terminal is included, probably because, the company itself, does not have the need to appear in this type of classifications.

The list of recommended devices for YouTube is as follows:
