Today Google has launched a new version of its popular online messaging service called Hangouts, and it is one of those updates that the Android community and especially the users who usually use it regularly had been waiting for. The most important news is that from today you will be able customize ringtones and notifications in Hangouts, as can be done with other applications of the style such as WhatsApp.
While today we have received a new YouTube update which offers the possibility of changing the quality of the video we are playing, the new one for Hangouts will allow us to give the Google messaging service a new ringtone or notification. in order to differentiate it from the rest of our contacts or friends. It's fun to see how, when notifications are received when we are with our friends, everyone reaches into their pocket to see if a Hangouts message has reached them, something that can be avoided with the new version.
Y, if for whatever reason you were already tired of the ringtone or Hangouts notification, with version 2.1.223 you can replace it with the one you want, in order to receive in a more pleasant way all the messages or calls on your phone.
Another advantage of this version is that you can personalize each of the conversations you have with a different notification tone, in order to have a good string of them and to be able to quickly differentiate who wants to contact you. To change the tones you have to go to "Users and options" in each of the conversations that you have active in Hangouts.
Otherwise too the contact card image appears by default for Hangouts, since Google+ had been used until now, after having integrated SMS messages and those of Google's messaging service.
