Xiaomi has published a video showing the new concept of mobile with 'Waterfall screen' which is simply exciting because of the experience it offers from that video.

Taking edge displays to the extreme
This new screen concept takes cornering to another level. It is as if we extended the edge panels that we have seen in numerous Samsung Galaxy models so that it is almost possible to surround the screen. We on something similar to last year's Mi Mix Alpha concept so that this Cascade screen covers the 4 sides of the mobile. And we know about this concept since last year in April when Xiaomi had in hand its patent for a phone with a waterfall type screen, and even a camera under the screen.
We are going to be a futuristic mobile that is just around the corner the moment we blink. It is now when Xiaomi has taken the Chinese social network Weibo to publish a video in which the concept can be seen from all possible perspectives so that we begin to salivate observing its details and imagining the experience it would be to use it.

Like the model shown last year, this Xiaomi Concept seems to be using a modified version of MIUI, the custom and own layer of the Chinese company for their mobiles. We say modified because as you can see in the video, the status bar with notifications is on the side.
And we can also see how we do not find any physical button on its sides, so they must be sensitive to pressure so that we are facing a futuristic mobile without physical buttons and in which the screen covers all 4 sides. Simply exciting.
What is Xiaomi's 'Waterfall Screen'

As it is a concept, we remain in the expectation of how real it can be to carry a mobile so futuristic to our day to day; battery time, durability, what covers we would put on, etc, etc.
