One of the Android devices that is making you wait the most this 2016 is the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. It is the only series of smartphones from the Chinese firm that has yet to be renewed this year, and we are about to enter the fall.
However, this long wait is facilitating leaks to multiply so much that we could almost say that we know everything about this new "great" Xiaomi terminal. The last of the leaked images, as you will see below, reveals that We could be facing the imminent launch of the smartphone with the largest RAM on the market: 8 GB.
Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 is waiting, but promises
Since the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Note, we have already witnessed two updates to the Redmi Note series however, with this model, we are still waiting. And it seems that Xiaomi is getting the taste of keeping us expectant.
Luckily the continuous leaks are calming our spirits, or perhaps generating greater expectation? Be that as it may, Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 is about to arrive, it is a matter of days, or perhaps a few, very few weeks.
A lot of rumors, leaks, benchmark images and other content are already circulating on the network that have revealed many of the characteristics of this new phablet, however, the most recent leak reveals a terminal with 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 GB.
With these characteristics, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could become the smartphone with the highest RAM memory in the entire current market.
During this last year, we have seen how many of the higher-end Android phones raised their standard from 3 GB to 4 GB. In addition, the path seems to be that of a continuous increase whose next stop is 6 GB. However, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 would arrive with 8GB, which is a big leap.
And it will come with a Pro version
As you can see in this filtered image, the specific name of this terminal Xiaomi is Mi Note 2 Pro. Well yes, we are still waiting for the Mi Note 2 "normal" and everything indicates that the company is already working on a Pro version that, we suppose, will be launched somewhat later, as it did with the third generation of this terminal. However, the fact that we are already seeing a leaked image also suggests that Xiaomi could launch the Mi Note 2 and the Mi Note 2 Pro simultaneously. It is not far-fetched.
In addition to its nomenclature and those beastly 8 GB of RAM, we can see how this Xiami Mi Note 2 Pro will come standard with Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system, something that users will appreciate without a doubt. Although, as you already know, a large part of this system will be offered under the company's customization layer, the system MIUI, much more attractive from a visual point of view.
If the trend in RAM memory of smartphones is towards its constant increase, the same happens with internal storage. Increasingly high-quality photos and videos, or games with impressive graffiti, demand more space from the user to store. And in this sense, it seems that Xiaomi will also launch the Mi Note 2 Pro with a 256GB internal storage option. If we add to this that this capacity can possibly be expanded by means of a micro SD card, we find a terminal without any space problem.
And finally, we get to the heart of the Mi Note 2, its processor. The new Xiaomi terminal is expected to integrate the powerful chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, which has been offering results well above the Snapdragon 820, despite the good results that it has also given, for example, in the Mi 5 itself.
As is usual, Xiaomi's new Mi Note 2 seems to be quite superior to other similar terminals on the market. And we hope that its price will remain, as usual, quite contained. Now it only remains for the company to finally launch it.
