The Android 11 update for the Xiaomi Mi A3 can leave the mobile unusable

MI A3

Xiaomi has launched Android 11 update for the We are A3 few days ago. This is currently being dispersed for all units of the smartphone globally, but some reports have emerged that indicate that it can make it totally unusable, since, apparently, it is a failed OTA that generates problems in the device.

There are numerous users who have complained about the new update that the Xiaomi Mi 11 is receiving at the moment. Therefore, our recommendation is that you do not install it, unless you want to try your luck to see if it works correctly in your unit, something that can also happen; it is better to wait a bit until it is launched correctly and without errors ... At the moment, it is risky to install it, although some users have not presented problems with the new OTA.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 gets the Android 11 update with glitches

We already know the terrible record that Xiaomi has with the Mi A series devices with Android One. These are not usually worthy of updates without errors in the first attempt, something that is a total shame, and what we now report is proof of that.

With Android 10, the device also presented numerous problems, so much so that the manufacturer had to offer the respective update of said OS on several occasions since multiple of these caused errors and a bad user experience.

We usually urge you to install software updates as soon as possible, as these often come with numerous system optimizations, bug fixes, and new features and functions. However, as we already recommend, it is best to delay the Android 11 OTA on the Xiaomi Mi A3 until you are sure that it will not cause a possible brick o bricking, in the event that you are a mobile user and you have already received the notification indicating the availability of the new firmware package.

    Good
    I installed it on 01-01-01
The cell phone died and Xioami washes her hands.
Today they have said that they only repair Mi a3 phones that have been bought in a physical store in Spain. After asking for the Imei, mine will not be repaired, I bought it online at amazon.
I can only add that your error / shit / misprint has cost me dearly, without making any misuse of the mobile or having any responsibility, apart from all the information that I had stored in the mobile and it has been irretrievably lost due to negligence of Xiaomi.
As for the after-sales service, the Xiaomi store in Granollers, which was the first one I attended, they ignored me and treated me little well. I sent 2 emails to ¨service.es@xiaomi.com¨ and they have not deigned to answer me.

It was my first experience with Xiaomi and it is clear that it will be the last, and here I tell it in case it may be of interest to someone.
