How Apalabrados works
Apalabrados puts at our disposal a board of 15 squares x 15 squares. We can create words both horizontally and vertically using the letters that are already placed on the board.
If we place the chips in the boxes marked in green, blue or red, the score is expanded following this pattern:
- DP: The word multiplies your score by two.
- TP: The word multiplies your score by three.
- DL: The letter in this box, double your score.
- TL: The letter in this box triples your score.
At first, each player receives 7 tokens. The first player has to place a word that passes through the central square of the board. If the player does not have enough letters to make a word, he receives tokens until he can compose a word.

How Worder works
Worder offers us two methods to look up the words that we need at all times.
Available lyrics
This method allows us enter all the letters we have to to create a word. For example, if we have the letters: A, A, V, O, S, we will enter those letters (it does not matter in the order) in the search box so that the web will return all the words that can be formed with those letters.
We can also use it replacing some letters with asterisks, the asterisks being the letters that it will combine with the ones we have entered to create a meaningful word. The words order is not important.
For example, if we enter the letters VOS **, Worder will search words that include those three letters, words that will not necessarily display those letters in the same order. The maximum number of asterisks that we can use is 3.
Word pattern
Things get complicated in Apalabrados when we want take advantage of the letters that are already located on the board. Here are some examples of how Worder can help us when it comes to finding words according to certain patterns:
- "ZU-" words beginning with ZU with no letter limit. CLOG.
- "-FAZ" words ending with FAZ with no letter limit. INTERFACE.
- «…» Will show us 3-letter words. THAT.
- "-ZZ" words containing the letter Z twice. JAZZ.
- «..LA» words that begin with two letters and end with LA. If instead of writing a colon, we write more, the number of points will be the number of letters that the word will show before the ending LA. MALA.
- "HO-LA" will show us words without limit of letters that begin with HO and end in A. Hello.
- "HL-" words that begin with H, followed by any letter, then L will be displayed and different letters will follow without ending numbers. HALLO.
- "-MI.TE" words ending with MI followed by a letter and NTE. YOU ATE.
- "-Z-MIND" words that end in MIND and contain a Z. REASONABLY.
In short, to search for words we must rely on the points and the hyphens.
- The points represent the number of letters we want to display.
- The scripts represent letters al without any limit.
Both search methods can be combined, to further reduce the number of words.

- If you have many vowels, join them creating diphthongs, hiatuses or triphthongs.
- If you have a lot of consonants, put them together to create words syllables you work.
- You use the highest scoring words in the boxes with double or triple punctuation of letter and word.
