Why is Nintendo crashing after the announcement of its Miitomo mobile game?

Nintendo

But what's wrong with nintendo? That is probably one of the questions that still remains unanswered today. The company has seen its first position in an era in which it practically dictated what video games were like and what we as consumers liked become ashes. It cannot be denied that the competition has been tough, but the reality is that the company itself has sunk itself. The last major action to consolidate the directionlessness in which it has been mired for several years has been the "non-announcement" of its first game for mobile platforms: Miitomo.

The reality is that both the public and the investors themselves have already given the firm many opportunities, hoping that those who managed to mobilize a few generations with that Club Nintendo that is now defunct would once again inspire us and show us the best they know how to give. . But no. Nintendo just doesn't want to move on. He wants to focus on the fact that they know what the public wants even when it simply rejects all those proposals that, on the other hand, are absurd. Simply Miitomo is much less than expected, and it has been a long time waiting for Nintendo to fully enter the mobile world.

Millionaire games based on Nintendo

It is likely that the managers of Nintendo are too focused on their belly buttons to realize what really happens in the company, but it would only take a walk through Google Play to really realize that what triumphs are precisely the options that have a lot to do with its classics. What's more, I don't even want to remember that threat in the form of a lawsuit that came to the one who became a millionaire by surprise with those flying birds that closely resembled the classic pipes of Nintendo platform games.

But, if the market is clear about what it wants and can be seen with the naked eye, why doesn't Nintendo just do it? Almost always, when a company has been in the sector for years, it is difficult for them to jump. And admitting that their consoles are not enough to take full advantage of their video games, which are desired by the public, would not only be admitting one failure, but two. The company has been trying to turn the market around for a few years without succeeding. What's more, they have done just the opposite, reducing profits and losses in several quarters. It costs much more to recognize mistakes in time than to insist on a firm stance that will lead to technical bankruptcy.

I personally think that sooner or later Nintendo will end up making the leap to the Android world and we can play the classics through Google Play. However, it may be too late to reap all the benefits that are being lost and there may not be as happy an ending as expected. In any case, the losses of Nintendo after the announcement of that title that reached great fanfare, Miitomo, and was left alone in what could be, are totally understandable. Disappointment is not only smelled in the world of investors, but in that of the users themselves.

I am not against nintendo taking out mobile games but if they only dedicated themselves to that, it would be absolute bankruptcy, the benefits of nintendo come from their consoles if they are dedicated only to mobile games it would collapse becoming a company of video games more. I do not know what people thought with the games that Nintendo was going to release, it was clade that they would be of this class, they will release some Mario surely but nothing of the other world, nothing that can unseat a console game and honestly well that they do better than Ruin developing real games for consoles than go under the knife making crappy mobile games.
