WhatsApp already has Nougat notifications working properly

WhatsApp

For those who are already in Nougat, and who we would like there to be many more, the extended notifications do not work as well as it should in WhatsApp. It has really been a somewhat honorable situation that the few users who are in Nougat and have that popular chat app that we all know have had to deal with. And it is that they were only able to see the most recent messages of the entire "notification".

But it is in beta version 2.17.13, in which WhatsApp has known implement Android 7.0 notifications and 7.1 Nougat on devices. This allows showing all the messages in a conversation, be it a person or group, and not just the last message, apart from the fact that the quick reply does not make the text disappear when you receive a new message from the same conversation and corrects the behavior when ungrouping multiple message conversations.

Some notifications that they work great on Android Nougat, at least the user experience with them is increased, and that WhatsApp, like many other pending issues, was expected to get down to work to properly deal with them.

This has been the case in the latest beta, one that comes after the final support for searching for animated GIFs from WhatsApp, and that allows us to have that Nougat experience of notifications that we are capable of extend to see all messages and that it is not only one as it used to be.

It has also fixed notifications that are obtained on Android Wear devices, which makes them easier to read, apart from being able to respond quickly to them.

If you want to see that improved notification behavior on your Nougat device, you need the version 2.17.13 beta WhatsApp or higher. Head over to the APK below, unless you're signed up for the Play Store beta program.
