We continue with the updates to Android Oreo, now it is the turn of the Honor 9 and Honor 8 Pro

Honor 9 head-on

The month of November has started with very good news for users of the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and LG V30, since manufacturers have begun to offer in beta phase the first version of what will be Android Oreo adapted to their devices. But it seems that they have not been the only ones who want to keep their customers happy, since Huawei's second brand, Honor, has just announced that it also joins the club of manufacturers that begin to release the first beta of Android Oreo. On this occasion, Honor makes available to users the first beta of Androoid Oreo for models Honor 9, a terminal that we analyzed last October, and Honor 8 Pro.

The firmware version of Honor 9 is STF-AL10 8.0.0.315 (C00), while Honor 8 Pro is DUK-AL20 8.0.0.315 (C00). At the moment the company has not announced whether it intends to offer this first beta globally or if it will limit its use in certain markets, in order to expand the feedback from users and thus be able to optimize as soon as possible the expected update to Android Oreo by current customers who have trusted Huawei's second brand, a second brand that has little to envy the official.

Huawei has adopted a position of commitment to all its customers and it seems that he intends to keep his promises. The company announced shortly after the launch of Android Oreo, that most of its most powerful terminals would receive the corresponding update before the end of the year. But the Honor 9 and Honor 8 Pro will not be the only terminals of the second Huawei brand that will be updated to Android Oreo, since the Honor 6X is also included in this list.

What a disappointment… Oreo for Samsung was only for Korea and USA. And the others to keep waiting… ????
