Google's cloud gaming service started at the end of last year limiting its operation to the Pixel range from the second generation. Shortly after, the Galaxy S8, S9, S10, S20, Note 9, Note 10, the first and second generation Razer Phone and the first and second generation ASUS ROG Phone were added to the range.
For a few hours, Google has announced through the Stadia community blog, that it has just removed that limitation, allowing any Android smartphone can download, install and enjoy the games available on the Google Stadia video game platform.
Now that Google Stadia has removed that absurd limitation, many more people will have the ability to access and test Google's cloud gaming service a service that also adds an important novelty: on-screen controls.
Until now, the only way to enjoy Google games on a compatible smartphone was via the official controller, the PS4 controller or the Xbox controller, an important limitation for those who did not have one of these controls.
In the middle of April, Google extended the trial period to two months, due to the exceptional situation of confinement suffered by most countries. This trial period currently has been reduced to a month, so it is still possible to try and enjoy it before deciding if the monthly subscription is worth paying for.
As the months have passed, the number of games available has been expanding Nowadays, the number of titles is more than ample and if this service can be considered as an option to take into account to enjoy the games.
