Vivo has once again entered the low-end segment. This time it has jointly presented and launched two new smartphones, which are not other than the I live Y20 and Y20i, a duo that shares the same processor chipset and is available in the budget segment as a fairly modest and affordable option for the vast majority of pockets.
Both devices have features and technical specifications cut, but one aspect that they boast in style is autonomy, as they are equipped with large batteries that can provide more than a day of use without great inconvenience.
Characteristics and technical specifications of the Vivo Y20 and Y20i
For starters, both the Vivo Y20 and Y20i come with a 6.51-inch diagonal IPS LCD technology screen that features an HD + resolution of 1.600 x 720 pixels. The panels that cover it are 2.5D technology, so they are softened at the edges. In addition, they have a rather stylized raindrop-shaped notch that houses an 8 MP front camera sensor with f / 1.8 aperture.
The rear camera systems of these mobiles are the same for both cases. In question, we have a triple camera that consists of a 13 MP main shooter (f / 2.2), a secondary one for 2 MP bokeh photos (2.4) and another macro for close 2 MP photos also with f / 2.4 aperture. We would have preferred that instead of the latter, the firm had opted for a wide-angle lens, as it is more useful for day-to-day use. To this we must add the double LED flash that accompanies the module, of course.
As we pointed out in the title of the post, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 460 on the processor chipset that powers these two smartphones. This SoC has eight cores arranged as follows: 4x Kryo 240 at 1.8 GHz + 4x Kryo 240 at 1.5 GHz. It is 11 nm and comes with the Adreno 610 GPU for running graphics and games.
The RAM in the Vivo Y20 is 4 GB in capacity, while in the Y20i it is around 3 GB. Both also make use of a 64 GB internal storage space, which can be expanded by using a microSD card. In turn, they carry a huge 5.000 mAh capacity battery that is compatible with a fast charge of 18 W.
The two mobiles are practically identical to each other, in addition to having the same dimensions of 164,41 x 76,32 x 8,41 mm and a weight of 192.3 grams. These arrive with the Android 10 operating system pre-installed with the signature customization layer, which is FunTouch OS 10.5, and they present connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition to this, they have a fingerprint reader located on the back, a microUSB port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
