Vanilla RootBox, Roms Android 4.2.1 available for various devices

Many of you will already know one of the best roms with Android 4.2.1 that exist in the world of the scene and Android development, especially those who have a Samsung Galaxy S2 or Samsung Galaxy S3, the rom is none other than the Vanilla Root Box.

Next I want to present this very well-known work and that is officially available for a few more devices, including the Nexus 4 or Galaxy Note 2.

With this rom we can update our device unofficially to Android 4.2.1, and soon to Android 4.2.2, since a new update to the latest version of the operating system of Google for mobile devices.

Among the highlights of this rom, it is worth mentioning the praised FOOT Control and its advanced and numerous own and customizable 100 x 100 settings, in addition to the natively inclusion of an application to receive the updates that are coming out directly on the device via OTA.

List of official devices

  • Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300)
  • Samsung Galaxy S3 (I747)
  • Samsung Galaxy S3 (T999)
  • Samsung Galaxy S3 (I535)
  • Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100)
  • Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100G)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II (N7100)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II (L900)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II (I605)
  • Galaxy Nexus (maguro)
  • Nexus 4 (mako)
  • Nexus 7 (grouper)

We have at our disposal, for most of the devices specified above, two versions, the official release and the experimental version called Nightly.

If you are interested in flashing one of these roms in your compatible terminal, you must have it rooted and the Modified recovery installed correctly.

If your device is not one of the lucky ones to appear in the list above, do not despair as there are many unofficial ports within the different development forums Android..

My question how would be your installation of this brand new rom and if you have the multi window because almost oh all the developers forget to integrate it in their rom and more in devices like the galaxy s3 t999 and other American version.

    1.    Francisco Ruiz said

The rom installation method is like any other, entering the modified recovery and flashing according to the developers' instructions.

And although I am happy with my Razr i with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 ... I miss Samsung for their fast updates on Roms 🙁

Hello grancisco !! I decided to update my s3 thanks to a previous post of yours about this same ROM, 4.1.2, and in the end I ended up with 4.2.2 installed. It is luxurious, although at the moment the screenshots do not work, and although it is somewhat minimal, what attracts me the least is that it consumes more battery than the touchwich ...
But well my question is, the rotboox app has just informed me that there is an update available, and I would like to know if this update is "safe" or are the OTAs still not as reliable as the official ones ???
    Thanks and greetings!

They are new versions of your rom improving and correcting bugs.
To install with a wipe cache and wipe cache partition you have enough. On 27/02/2013 07:48 AM, "Disqus" wrote:
