How to use Google Photos from the PC or any device using the Internet browser (Updated Video tutorial added)

If I tell you about Google Photos or Google Photos, surely you think you know everything about the Google photo gallery application, although many people, when I tell you that you can use Google Photos on PC or MAC, We can use it from any personal computer without having to download any application !!, the truth is that they are a bit freaked out, and that is that from the web version of Google Photos, we will have access to all the options that the application for Android or iOS gives us, including access to all the photos that we have stored in the Google Photos cloud, except of course, the automatic backup option that is limited only to the application of Android and iOS.

In the next post I'm going to show you how to use Google Photos from PC, any PC or personal computer has the operating system it has, including Android and iOS mobile devices, simply by having a web browser installed.

Google Photos from PC

To start with this simple post, and given its extreme simplicity, I don't dare call it a practical tutorial or anything like that, we're just going to have to click on this same link, link that will take us to the Google Photos website or Google Photos, the page http://photos.google.com/.

On this page, the first thing they are going to do is give us the option to open the original Google application, this if we have it installed in our operating system, or failing that, if we do not have it installed and there is a version for our operating system, it will give us the option or rather will try to sell us the application, this is a way of speaking since as we all know Google Photos is a totally free application.

Access Google Photos from any computer

As you see in the image above, we are only going to have to click on the Continue option, to access the official Google Photos page, from which, after logging in or identifying with our Google account and password, we will be shown all the applications that we have stored in the Google cloud thanks to the copy of security of the official Google Photos application that we have installed on our Android or iOS.

Google Photos Web Interface

In this image you can see that the user interface of this web version of Google Photos or Google Photos or whatever you want to call it, not far from the version we have installed on our Android or iOS in the form of a dedicated application. At the top you can see on the right side, where you see the logo of Androidsis(1), is where we can click to change Google accounts at any time, while on the left side we can see the buttons or sections that in the Android application we would see at the bottom of the application, that is, the icons to be able to enter the options or functionalities of Assistant, Photos and Albums. (2).

By default the interface of the Web version of Google Photos, as you can see in the screenshot above, It is shown to us in the Photos tab or section which is where we can find all the photos that we have saved in the Google cloud.

Likewise, from the icon in the form of three horizontal bars that we can see just above on the left (3) of the user interface of the web version of Google Photos, just above the sections or sections of Assistant, Photos and albums, from there we will be able to access the settings of the web version of Google photos, one of the settings that, as might be expected, does not include the option of automatic backup and backup of our photos and videos since for this we will need to install the dedicated application for our operating system in particular.

Some very basic settings in which we are informed of the storage that we still have available in the case of wanting to upload content in the original quality, or the option of being able to change this type of storage to achieve the desired unlimited free storageYes, reducing the quality of our videos to a maximum FullHD quality, and some photos with a maximum resolution of 13 mpx, qualities that I personally believe are more than enough and more than reasonable for a cloud storage service Let us remember once again that it is totally free for life.

From this Web version of the Google Photos application, we can also upload the photos we have on our personal computer or even from a Pendrive, connected external hard drive or any storage medium in which we have photos or videos that we want to save in the Google Photos cloud so that we can later have them available on all our Android devices in which we have the official application installed and synchronized our Google account.

Finally also we have a Create button, from which a new menu will be displayed in the form of a window from which we will be able to perform actions such as those of create a new Album, Shared Album, animation or even a new Collage,
