Great news comes from the xda forums for terminal owners Samsung Galaxy S, it can be released to use with any operator really easily. Apparently the code necessary for unlocking is already in the terminal and "only" you have to access it, write it down and insert it, easy, right?
The first thing to say that according to the creators of the method it may not work and the code is not obtained and the second that everything you do is under your responsibility.
- It is necessary to have installed the Android SDK and download this file if you use MAC or this other one if you use Windows. The downloaded file must be unzipped into the Tools folder of the SDK.
- On the phone go to Menu — Settings — Applications — Development — We select USB debugging
- We connect the terminal to the computer and press on the numeric screen * # 7465625 #
- We execute the downloaded and unzipped file in the Tools folder, Generate_Code.bat if you are in Windows or we open the terminal and execute generate_code.sh if we are in MAC.
- A process will start and at the end of the whole on the screen we will see a phrase that says "Search code….""Found: xxxxxxxxx “We write down this number, which is our unlock code.
- We turn off the phone and put the card of another operator. We turn on the terminal again and when it asks us for an unlock code we introduce the previous one.
And with this we should have the Samsung Galaxy S unlocked.
For anyone who does not dare to do this there is an application in the Android Market what does she do to you alone, Galaxy S Sim Unlocker and is priced at just $ 10.

Network Subset Lock OFF
SP OFF lock
CO OFF lock
But it does not work with another sim that is not from Claro Puerto Rico

HDipity the best option would be to return it to its rightful owner, look at the numbers in the phonebook or wait for a call on the SIM.
