Apparently from 9to5Google it is mentioned as HTC I would be developing two new variants, the «Plus» and the «Advance». The best thing about this news is that the Taiwanese company will increase the string of Android smartphones for HTC by a good number, one of the objectives that was imposed at the beginning of the year for 2014. What until now has been called the Prime would be replaced by the "Plus" although the specifications do not place it in line with previous leaks. One of the virtues of the «Plus» is that it will be water resistant, a functionality that should already be an obligation for all high-end Android terminals.
The Plus will not have the popular Duo Camera of the One M8, replaced by a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. The size of the screen is not known either, although it has been mentioned that it will have a panel with 2K resolution with a high pixel density. Another component that is known is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB RAM.
The other device called One M8 «Advance», will have the same specifications as the Plus, but with a plastic housing and it will be focused on the Asian market, so we will see it in passing.
