Twitter will add the option to save tweets to read later in the next update

Twitter

Since Jack Dorsey, one of the founders of Twitter, took over the position of head of the microblogging social network, Twitter has been adding a large number of functions to try to attract more users to the platform, functions that little by little he has been blatantly copying Facebook, something in which she has become an expert.

Twitter keeps adding new features. The last function that the company plans to add is the possibility of being able to save for later, those tweets that contain a link that we want to read carefully. Although it is true that so far, we can mark them as favorites or use an application such as Instapaper or Pocket to read later, This native option is ideal to be able to separate all the content that we store.

Version 2.79 will be the one that will receive this new function, a function that will appear when we click on the upper right corner of each tweet, a function that although it is not very comfortable and fast, it is appreciated that it has been implemented in order to reduce the number of applications on our device to store content. To be able to access this content, we just have to slide our finger from the left side of the screen.

For now, the APK corresponding to this version, does not offer us this function, since everything seems to indicate that will be activated through the company's servers when the final version of this feature is finally released. For some time now, and despite the fact that third-party clients are much better than the native one, Twitter is not stupid and knows what it does, since many of the latest functions that it is adding are only available in the official application and not the makes available to third-party app developers, almost forcing users to use the native app and see the ads that are not shown in third-party apps and which is the only way to continue to maintain the microblogging platform.
