Twitter tests a function to "undo" posted tweets

One of the first skills to be learned in computer science is the copy, paste, and undo commands. This function is especially useful to undo, never better said, the changes that we have made in an image or document that we do not know how. revert or we want to remove it completely.

In recent weeks, many are the functions that are coming to Twitter such as Spaces. To these functions we have to add a new one that is currently being tested in a small number of users, it is the undo function, a function that wants to replace the function of editing already published tweets.

Editing tweets is one of the most desired functions by Twitter users, however, Jack Dorsey, CEO and founder of the company, states that at the moment it is not planned to implement.

This new function has been discovered by software engineer Jane Manchun Wong, who has discovered a function named Undo (Undo) function that will be displayed for a few seconds right after posting a tweet.

Jane has not given more information about its operation, she has only posted a GIF with the button that is shown to cancel the publication of a tweet. We do not know, yes when canceling the tweet, the tweet will be shown again to edit it or directly we will have to re-write a new one.

Absurd function

Anyone who uses Twitter, Facebook or any other social network knows perfectly how to delete a post, so this feature is totally meaningless beyond making users think twice about what you want to post.

Moment we do not know if this function will arrive in future updates or if on the contrary, it remains in a function (of the many) that are tested in a small number of users and that finally do not get to see the light.
