Announcement: there will be no more Moto Z phones for this year

Motorola has just confirmed something that had already been suspected: the Moto Z series will not have a new member for the remainder of the year. This was made public not long ago after introducing his newest device.

The manufacturing firm announced the new Moto Z3, the latest smartphone in this family this year. This smartphone will be available exclusively under the marketing rights of Verizon, the United States operator, for which, for now, it will only go on sale in that territory in the coming days.

This decision is part of the scoop already commented at the beginning of the year in which it was expected that Motorola would not launch many smartphones, something that is being fulfilled to the letter. It was announced through a recently published tweet:

As we can see in the tweet above, the information came in response to a user's question, in which, following the presentation of the Moto Z3, it was interested in the arrival of a Force variant of it.

This, added to the fact that the mobile will not cross the American border into Europe, at least not now, a little disappointing. Even so, we can always turn to the Moto Z3 Play launched in June, although, of course, it is a lower-performance terminal. The latter will arrive in Spain this month for 499 euros, and also in other countries in the area, although with a possibly different price, either a little higher or a little lower.

Finally, with respect to other series, the manufacturer has not announced anything in this regard, which leaves us waiting for the arrival of another or other models in the remainder of the year, which is not little.
