On August 28, Realme, the company recently taken off from Oppo's parent company, will carry out its next launch, that of the Realm 2, an inexpensive mobile with a notch design.
This device will be launched in India, the market where Realme mainly operates. Also, as expected, it will be sold exclusively through Flipkart for less than Rs 10,000 (~ € 123).
Realme also revealed that the terminal will have a screen with notch and it will come with a dual rear camera. Besides, unlike the Realme 1, the smartphone also will have a fingerprint reader on the back panel, for greater security.
The phone will feature a 6.2-inch long screen and it will offer a screen-to-body ratio of 88.8 percent. In addition, it will be powered by a massive 4,300 mAh battery, which will easily last a whole day on a single charge.
The company has also confirmed that The Realme 2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However, it is not yet known which particular Qualcomm chipset will power the device. Its predecessor, the Realme 1, was powered by MediaTek's Helio P60 octa-core processor, so the firm is expected to opt for a 600-series SD.
It is also known that the phone will be available in three color options: black, blue and red. For more details, including the full specifications of the phone, we will have to wait for the company to officially launch the mobile on August 28.
