Although OnePlus is in full preparations for the launch of its new flagship, OnePlus 5, it seems that the company has not forgotten about its old models, the OnePlus 3 and the 3T, two devices that already have their days numbered.

However, Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus, recently said via Twitter that both the OnePlus 3 and 3T will receive the next major version of Google's operating system, specifically Android O.

In case anyone doesn't know, since the Android 7.0 Nougat release date, OnePlus took approximately 7 months to update its new mobiles to this version of the operating system, so a similar interval will probably happen in the case of Android O.

Meanwhile, the company's highest priority is now the launch of the OnePlus 5, its new flagship that will debut with a dual camera, processor Snapdragon 835 and about 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.

The Chinese company has already been publishing teasers for its new terminal for several weeks, the last of which points to the possible official device launch date, which would be next June 15.

In addition to the launch of the OnePlus 5 in the near future, OnePlus also announced that OnePlus 3T sales will cease from June 1 in Europe, at which time users will no longer be able to purchase the terminal through official means.

And for all fans and former users of OnePlus devices, the company has also recently launched a referral program that will allow users to buy the OnePlus 5 and a wide range of accessories at a reduced price, as this would be the only way to to be able to buy the new cheaper mobile phone.

It is not yet known when the official arrival date of Android O is, but Google's operating system is already in phase Developer Preview and will arrive in a few months for users of the Google Pixel and, later, for the latest models in the Nexus range. More information by clicking here.
