Betas updates are being becoming common since the great G began the journey of the versions for developers that should not take long to arrive, at least a few months, for the Android version 8. These beta updates also serve to collect the feedback of thousands of users who go to install them in order to file them and that the final version arrives at some point.
The peculiar thing about OnePlus concerning the Nougat issue, is that it promised to update both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T to 7.0 before it left us 2016. The funny thing about OnePlus is that released the OxygenOS Open Beta 1 for the OnePlus 3T on the same December 31st. That update has the same list of notes as the OxygenOS 4.0.
