The Nokia 8 Sirocco begins to receive Android 10

The return of the prodigal son, Nokia, to the world of telephony, occurred a couple of years ago. Many were the users who they wanted to trust the Finnish giant again to renew their devices, without taking into account that mobile phones had changed a lot during Nokia's absence from the mobile landscape.

Today, Nokia is one more manufacturer in the mobile landscape, a manufacturer that only stands out for its commitment when it comes to updating its terminals for two years, even if they are low-end. The last terminal that has been updated is the Nokia 8 Sirocco, a terminal that was launched on the market in May 2018.

As we can read in the latest publication available at the time of writing, Nokia has released the update to Android 10 for the Nokia 8 Sirocco, an update that in its first wave it will reach 35 countries, an update that will be available in all these countries before April 20.

With this update, the Nokia 8 Sirocco software reaches version V5.120, a version that new functions such as the dark mode, navigation gestures, new privacy settings related to location, suggested responses and new actions in general. But in addition, it also includes the latest security update for the month of April.

To force the update, if you have not yet received the corresponding update, you must go to Settings> System> System updates> Check for updates. Unfortunately, out of the 35 countries where this update will be released, no Spanish-speaking found, so we are going to have to wait for the second wave, a second wave that according to the manufacturer will be launched at the beginning of May, so the wait to be able to enjoy the benefits that Android 10 offers us in the Nokia 8 Sirocco does not it will be very long.
