We continue to review everything that the 2017 edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona gives of itself. Now we get to the new models of Huawei Watch, some watches with Android 2.0 that succeed the previous generation of this brand, which it presented in 2015.
Huawei has presented two models: Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic. Regarding their characteristics, it should be noted that the two models are quite similar, so the most noticeable difference between the two lies in design, since the first of them is more focused on athletes and the second more focused on people who like to wear SmartWatch as another complement, which was the first bet of the brand with its first models of these wearables.
Regarding their common characteristics, it must be said that both have the same screen size, 1'2 inches with a resolution of 390 × 390. They also share a processor, the Snapdragon 2100, the storage memory which is 2 gigabytes, the battery of 410 mAh (which gives an autonomy of two days), Google Assistant, GPS, NFC, and details such as resistance to water and dust or the heart rate sensor, as well as interchangeable straps.
But as we say, one is a more casual model, battle and the other is a more elegant model, to go out. It should also be noted that this sportier model has 4G connectivity and also with a card slot nanosim, which allows it to be used independently from the mobile phone.
Hence, the price of the sports model, the Huawei Watch 2 to dry, is higher than the other: $379 by $329 of the Classic model. In theory, the launch date in Spain will be throughout the month of March, as in other European countries and China. To other markets, such as the United States, it will arrive throughout the month of April.
In addition to these watches, we remind you that Huawei also presented two new smartphone models: the P10 and the P10 Plus.
