Today at the Mobile World Congress the Blackphone encrypted phone system announced a new smartphone and tablet as well as a new type of movement with the objective set in the companies.
The new phone is the Blackphone 2, the successor to the first Blackphone shown at last year's Mobile World Congress, but a new processor, better screen and a higher quality profile are added, something you might expect in a hardware and software update like this one. As for the tablet, it has been named as Blackphone +, and it follows the same as the smartphone with just differences in dimensions and screen.
Two ultra secure devices
Both the tablet and the smartphone work under the operating system that has been designed to protect the metadata and provide the user with end-to-end encryption. Silent Circle software will follow with Silent Text and Silent Phone
The Blackphone focuses on safe calls and texts what offers a quality product to have communications without any kind of listening by third parties in any way. Another objective is to reach companies so they have been quite aware of this due to the recent hack suffered by Sony Pictures.

Added a new feature for conference calls and is preparing a new series of initiatives thanks to new funds recently acquired.
One of its best features is the ability to work all calls as data, allowing you to be protected against SIM-based attacks recently revealed by Gemalto. The software version is 1.1 with Spaces, a tool to create totally private sessions and the new Silent Store, its own app store.
Blackphone 2 key specs
The Blackphone 2 will be available in the second half of 2015 and it is an updated version on the first generation hardware. 5.5-inch 1080 screen, an eight-core processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage as the main components.
