Motorola wants us to open the RAZR as little as possible with the update to Android 10

Motorola Razr

Before the launch of the Motorola RAZR, the company (now Asian) Motorola, was filtering different images of what would be the rgraduation from one of the most emblematic telephones in the world of telephony. Those of us who are a few years old, we sure had the opportunity to try it.

From the initial expectation, motivated by nostalgia, went to frustration When the first users, who relied on the rebirth of the RAZR, found that the cameras were disappointing, the durability of the folding system was reduced ... not to mention that it reached the market with Android 9 in the middle of 2020.

It seems that Motorola has not trusted much in this terminal (probably due to the negative reviews it received), since otherwise it is not logical to see how it took more than 5 months to release the update to Android 10 of its most recognized phone in many years, an update that has already started to be available in some countries.

Mr. Mobile, you have had the opportunity to test the Android 10 update on the Motorola RAZR in the video that I leave you on these lines. This update includes everything you would expect from Android 10 but also includes an interesting novelty in terms of functionality.

The most important novelty, not related to Android 10, is found in the operation of the secondary screen (the one found on the outside). This screen now offers a new user interface that is nothing more than a simplified version of Android 10 and that allows us to slide the screen to the left to access the camera, slide up to show the directions to go home and slide the right to access a panel of shortcuts to call or send messages.

It is interesting to see, as despite the delay in the update launch, Motorola has worked to offer greater functionality to the external screen, functionality that sometimes avoids having to open the terminal, which in turn allows screen and hinge integrity to be unaffected.
