The operation of this new function is very simple. Imagine that we have downloaded two episodes of the Stranger Things series to see on the way to work on the subway. When we get to a Wifi connection, those two episodes will be marked as viewed and the next one will be downloaded automatically. This function will prevent us from having to wait to download the next episode of our favorite series, since the application will do it automatically and will prevent our return journey from being very boring if we have forgotten to do so.
The Wi-Fi signal to which it is connected must be powerful enough to allow the episodes to be downloaded in a couple of minutes at the most, since the signal is weak, we will have to do the download manually. At the moment this function is only available in the Android version of Netflix. Until the end of the year it will not reach Apple's mobile platform, iOS.
