Well it seems that in the end Mobile World Congress is not going to be so scruffy at the end of the day. We have been worried and we still are, since neither Huawei nor Samsung nor Xiaomi will be with their high-end at that event that takes place every year at the beginning of the year in Barcelona. A MWC 2017 that can be saved by the presence of LG with its G6 and the 5 models that Sony will present.
At least, on the side that touches wearables, the MWC will have something of importance, since we just learned that Huawei will present the Huawei Watch 2 at the MWC precisely on February 26. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei has confirmed on Weibo that will unveil the second generation of the Huawei Watch 2 in that same event at the end of this month, so the Chinese brand is positioning itself as one of the important ones for the event.

According to previous rumors, the Huawei Watch 2 will offer support to 4G data connectivity, which will allow you to make and receive phone calls using the e-SIM card included in the watch, in order to stay independently without having to relegate to a Wi-Fi connection or a Bluetooth connection.
Huawei's smartwatch is expected arrived in two variants, one that will have data connectivity and another that will use Wi-Fi. Logically, the latter will be the cheapest in price. We do not know if it will arrive with Android Wear 2.0, deployed last week, although it would be interesting if it did.
