After the hangover from the conference held yesterday on future developments in Google services, today comes confirmations from manufacturers regarding the new version of Android that was presented during Google I/O. Android M is the new version that will arrive at the end of the year and Google already provided yesterday the preview of this new version that the next Nexus will incorporate and followed by the new terminals that will be launched at the end of the year.

Google plans to release a version of its operating system for each year. This can cause an operating system fragmentation problem, something that has dragged on for a long time. This problem is the fault of the manufacturers who decide not to update their terminals to the latest version of Android, being these compatible with that version. Even so, there are companies that decide to update their brand-new star terminals, albeit late, to the latest update of Google's operating system.

Android M was presented yesterday during the keynote of the first day of Google I / O 2015. This new version of Android will not have major changes as if the Android 5.0 Lollipop tube compared to Android 4.4 Kit Kat. Android M will continue to maintain Material Design and will incorporate several improvements, such as management of app permissions, a new launcher, smoother and tighter transitions, improvements for battery life, Android Pay, fingerprint reader support and a long etcetera of which has not yet been discovered.

HTC was the first manufacturer to report that its HTC One M9 and One M9 + will be updated to Android M when available. The Taiwanese manufacturer has announced it through its Twitter profile where they have also commented that the One M9 will not be the only devices of the company to receive the next version of Android, although the manufacturer has not given more information about it. Still good news for owners of the new One M9 and M9 + who will be able to enjoy the next version.
