Google messages is not associated with Google services, so each manufacturer offers us a different application for this type of traditional and unsafe written communications. It is only installed natively in Google Pixel terminals and in terminals that are managed by Android One.
To improve traditional text messages, Google has done a lot of work on this application, an application that offers RCS support. With this protocol, both Google and the operators want to create a kind of Apple Messages but for all phone users (no longer smartphones only), they can send messages to any other device without depending on third-party applications like WhatsApp or Telegram a service that does not require an internet connection and will be completely free.
