The Galaxy S7 with Snapdragon 820? This is shown by a benchmark

Technology advances by leaps and bounds, there is no doubt about that. That is why, it is normal that we begin to hear the first rumors about devices that will come out during the first quarter of next year.

One of these devices that will see light next year will be the Samsung Galaxy S7. To date, we have seen how the Korean company has recently presented the new Galaxy during the celebration of the largest mobile phone fair, the Mobile World Congress.

We do not know if this time, Samsung will choose the county capital to present to the general public what will be its next flagship. For this we will still have to wait until the beginning of next year, but nevertheless the first rumors about the future Samsung S7 have already come out.

Galaxy S7, first rumors

The Galaxy S7, we assume it will be called that, is codenamed Project Lucky. The future terminal could be a revolution never seen to date on a mobile device. If the current Samsung Galaxy S6 is equipped with a processor manufactured by Samsung itself, the Exynos 7420, in the seventh version of this range it could incorporate the Snapdragon 820.

This data comes thanks to a leak of a benchmark of what could be a prototype of the future terminal of the Korean manufacturer. As you can see in the image, the name of the device coincides with the codename of the Galaxy S7, which has some very interesting specifications that we will see below.

AnTuTu returns to provide us with the first rumors about a terminal as well as the first supposed specifications that the Samsung device would incorporate. Although it is still early and everything can change, the supposed characteristics of the Korean terminal are the following. Inside, we would find a processor Snapdragon 820 made by Qualcomm, this device would be the chipmaker's high-end SoC. Along with this SoC, the S7 would incorporate 4 GB RAM memory.

Your screen would be magnified until 5,7 inches. This screen would have a QHD resolution which is equivalent to 2560 x 144o pixels. If we see more specifications of the supposed Samsung prototype, we see how it runs under Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it has 64 GB of RAM memory and cameras of 16 Megapixels for the main camera located on the back of the device and 5 MP for the front camera.

There is still a lot left, so it is better to take these rumored specifications with tweezers since, probably, everything will change between now and its official release.
