The Galaxy S6 Edge resists water, this is demonstrated by a video

When it was unveiled during the Mobile World Congress, Samsung did not comment on whether the company's upcoming flagships were IP67 certified. This certification does have the previous model, the Galaxy SV, but nevertheless the sixth generation seems to be not resistant to dust or water.

And I say it seems to be, because during these days a couple of videos have come out where the South Korean terminal is exposed to some tough resistance tests. As our colleague commented, we saw a girl using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and crashing it into the ground without it suffering any damage.

There was a lot of criticism Samsung received when it introduced both devices for removing the resistance to dust and water. But these days those who criticized the Asian manufacturer are receiving a surprise that has come in the form of videos.

We already commented on the first video during an article in its day and now we see another video where the terminal with a curved screen is exposed to water as if it were a fish. In the video, made by a technology channel on YouTube, we see how they decide to test the resistance of the terminal. The video lasts about 11 minutes and in them it looks like the Galaxy S6 Edge lasts much longer under water than one could expect and longer without being certified to be water resistant.

The Galaxy S6 Edge is water resistant

Although at the beginning the user can navigate through the different menus of the terminal and this works perfectly, where and even it can be loaded easily, finally and as expected the device after time, it becomes an unusable terminal. Either way, the terminal is more than 25 minutes underwater undeterred, showing that the Galaxy S6 Edge is water resistant and that the terminal is not water resistant.

There are already several Drop Tests that have been carried out on the new Samsung terminal and where it has come out well. Nor can we prove that the videos are real, since like all video that appears on the network may have some cheating, but if the device really has the resistance that we have seen in the different videos, future walkers of the terminal can be calm in case One day you drop your smartphone on the floor or in the sink. And to you What do you think of these Drop Test ?
