The first Samsung device to receive Samsung's version of the One UI 3.1 customization layer was the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 +However, as of yet, no other device, including smarpthone, had been updated to this new version of Samsung's customization layer.
Samsung has just released One UI 3.1 for the Galaxy S20 FE, thus becoming the pfirst smartphone from the Korean company to receive this update, an update that is now available in Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Being a minor update, this version does not include a handful of new features. Among these novelties we find small tweaks to the user interface, the possibility of adding video call effects in applications such as Google Duo or WhatsApp, integration of the Google Discover feed and the possibility of removing GPS data from photos before sharing.
The firmware for this update is the number G781BXXU2CUB5. To update your device to this new version, you just have to go through the Settings> Software update> Download and install section. To avoid that during the process we can lose the information stored on the device, it is advisable to make a backup copy beforehand.
The Galaxy S20 FE is one of the best devices that we can currently find on the market, based on the value for money it offers. Thanks to this, it is selling very well in most markets, so it is not surprising that Samsung is betting heavily on it and has launched One UI 3.1 earlier than in the rest of the company's high-end models.
We can find the Galaxy S20 FE on Amazon for 559 euros.
