A phone, whose model would correspond to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J3 from 2017, has already received Wi-Fi certification. This is the second time that this device receives this certification, however, now there is an important difference: this time it is with Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest mobile operating system from Google.
As observed from Sammobile, normally, the fact that a unit receives a certification running a new version of the Android open source operating system, indicates that the launch "is around the corner".
Of course, we must not lose sight of the fact that we are dealing with assumptions. The Galaxy J3 is a given, but its release date is totally unknown. Still, there is evidence that its launch will come sooner rather than later. In fact, last Friday, January 6, the Galaxy J3 began its way into the hands of users by appearing on the Samsun websiteg. However, this website specified that it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. "Seeing that the device is new, it seems strange to us that the company does not launch it with Nougat on board," they point out from Sammobile.
Despite this, and in the supposed case that the Samsung Galaxy J3 arrives with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, this indicates that the terminal will receive the update to Android 7.0 Nougat, and that it will do so relatively soon, something that will undoubtedly make potential buyers happy.
The Galaxy J3 of 2017 will be a small evolution of the model launched in 2016; has the same screen of 5 inches and 720p but it has a Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 43 processor0 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage internal, instead of the Exynos chip, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage capacity of its predecessor. It also has a 5 megapixel main camera and 2 megapixel front camera, as well as a 2.600mAh battery.
