The first beta of Android Oreo for the OnePlus 5 is now available

OnePlus 5

Much is being said these days about OnePlus, in part because just a few days ago the latest model of the company was launched with few design variations with its predecessor, but they are important enough to consider purchasing it, despite the fact that the OnePlus 5 has only been on the market for a few months.

But its presentation is not the only reason why it is being talked about, since previous model users are increasingly angry with the company, for not wanting to offer certain functions available from the 5T in its predecessor, at least in a way official, since the detector faces to unlock the OnePlus 5T yes it seems that it will arrive at the OnePlus 5.

A few days ago we informed you of the leak that showed us how, despite the company's refusal, the next update to Android Oreo could bring this function. Well, it is time to check it, or at least the first attempt, since OnePlus just launched the first beta of Android Oreo, a long-awaited update that is already stable in the OnePlus 3T and 3 models, as my colleague informed you a few days ago.

For now, and for users to analyze it, we can only know the functions that this version should implement in the OnePlus 5, such as floating video on the screen, intelligent text selection, filling in forms, new design of the folders containing the applications, new menu for quick access to settings ... among many other options besides counting with the improvements in performance and security that each new version of Android does not offer.

At the moment we do not know how long the beta period of Android Oreo will last, but according to the company said a few days ago, they are doing everything possible so that the deadline is as short as possible, especially before the discomfort that their followers are expressing for any reason, and it is not for less, since launching a new model every six months, with minimal improvements is not a good policy to follow, and we are telling Sony with the Xperia Z range.
