The firmware of the Galaxy Tab S4 confirms that it will have an iris scanner and facial recognition

During these last two weeks, the number of leaks related to the two next tablets that the Korean company plans to launch on the market, Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 8 2018, has been increasing. Yesterday we showed you the first images of the design that the Galaxy Tab A 8 will show us.

A few days ago, we showed you the design that the Galaxy Taba S4 will have along with all the specs the guys at Sammobile had gotten through one source. In those images we did not find the fingerprint sensor, neither in front of nor behind the device. The deduction was obvious: Samsung would implement iris scanning.

It was clear that the Korean company couldn't launch a flagship tablet without any security measures. According to the Sammobile experts who have had access to the firmware of the Tab S4, and as we can see in the image above, this new tablet will integrate an iris scanner as well as a facial recognition system, which will allow us to use a system of security or another, depending on the one that offers the best results or depending on the conditions of use (facial recognition does not work well in the dark)

Inside the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, as we mentioned a few days ago, we will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 de, instead of the latest processor that the company offers today for high-end terminals, the Snapdragon 845. This processor will be accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The screen of the Tab S4 will have a 16:10 format with 2k resolution, one of the greatest attractions that Samsung's Tab S model always offers us, which also integrates a stylus that allows us to expand the possibilities almost infinitely of this device .
