Audiobooks are being one of the products that is allowing the book industry to balance losses that are obtained from the ebooks or from the printed books themselves. They are having great acceptance to the extent that the user can use that time that they have every day in their car when they return from work, to listen to their favorite book thanks to the great voice of an actor.
The official Amazon app that we have on Android is one of the means by which we can access a large repertoire of this type of format and now it has been updated with several quite striking features. Of these, the most notable is "Clips", a new feature that allows users to create easily and share an audio clip Small-capacity audiobook narration from within the app.
That interface to be able to create those calls as «Clips» is quite simple to use. Basically you can choose 30 seconds or less in time for an audio track, you share it through an Amazon link from your email or text message. Perhaps the editing capacity could be improved, but the moment you try it several times, you will do it. What may be missing is that there was some way to share those audio files on the web.
Another of the changes included is a layer for Audible Channels, a mix between a style to podcasts that is exclusive to the service. Another detail of this update has to do with when a user finishes playing one completely or has been as "marked". When this happens, it will be synchronized with the rest of the user's Android devices. We assume that this will also be done with Amazon tablets.
