Cannon Fodder was released by Sensible Software back in the early 90's for the Amigas and it was a combat action game that recalls Team SIX for its visual style, a new title for Android that has very pleasantly surprised us.
We say it because we are facing a game that has its similarities to those Command & Conquer or Starcraft, at least in the control of the troops, since we do not have to build bases or build buildings to strengthen our troops. Here we will have a main menu from which we recruit new soldiers to take them on missions around the world. Go for it.
A combat game in which you are in control of the troop
Visually very close to Cannon Fodder with that pixel art and that design of soldiers that make it a very cute game visually. Our objective is to go to the different missions that we have in the world to destroy the enemy and those key facilities that we have to destroy.
We have a troop of soldiers who we ourselves have to recruit, assemble and design so that they can handle perfectly before those enemies that will come out everywhere. When we enter combat, we can control them with a control stick or simply aiming so that they start firing at the enemy.
Although it should be mentioned that, although the AI of the same is well workedIt does not have those mechanisms that we can find in other RTS such as Stacraft; that is, if you aim at an enemy the unit will move towards him until it finds him in his field of vision and starts shooting at him. Here if we aim at an enemy and between it and our unit there is a jungle, our unit will start shooting at the trees directly at the enemy.
Use all the weapons you have at your disposal
Team SIX not only we liked it for being an RTS in which we manage a troopBut because apart from eliminating enemies or using grenades, rockets and other weapons that we will have to get used to, there is friendly fire.
That is, if you make a mistake and you throw a grenade too close, you can leave your troop turned into heroes of war so that the main menu you can visit them and add them to those who fell in combat. Team SIX has many details that make it one of the best RTS we've seen lately; and is that this category of games still lacks quality games.
Then we have the whole part of recruit new troops from the main menu in which we will see visually 
as new recruits approach waiting for us to dress them as soldiers and take them to fight. Not only do we have to recruit them, but we have to take care that they are well armed and we can even turn them into snipers or other types of troops. In total there are 6 different types of units that we have to master to complete the missions well.
Use tanks and helicopters
If we have commented that we will use grenades or rockets, we also have vehicles as are tanks and helicopters, so the strategies are opened to have a very round RTS. That said about the strategies, we can even divide the troops into combat to create our own teams that seek one objective while we will use the other for other purposes. In short, we are facing an RTS that has very pleasantly surprised us.
Technically it is very well achieved, although it has its limitations in AI as we said. Otherwise it visually coaxes with those graphics and even inclement weather like rain, or that design of the soldiers with which one quickly emphasizes to make it his favorite game for the next few days. It also has all that depth of recruiting, creating strategies, dividing teams and a lot of missions to take our hats off to Team SIX; and what do i know away from another RTS that we had a chance last year to play a few games.
Team SIX is a new RTS that arrives without the hype of others, but that is liked from the first moment. It is true that it is not in Spanish, but using a translator like Google Lens, we can quickly get to its interface and its entire gaming experience.
Editor's opinion
We miss RTS like this and it is still one of the most lacking categories due to the need for more storage and CPU power. The RTS need a good AI and here at least it is possible to generate a very pleasant experience. Quite a nice surprise.
