Technological advances in telephones are increasing, this is the case that the company TCL, a well-known company that owns BlackBerry and Alcatel, has shown us. The company shows two new conceptual devices in which it uses folding and flexible screens, something increasingly popular: One folds in three and the other closes.

TCL-CSOT is the manufacturer of the panels, a well-known in-house display division of the company. Use flexible AMOLED technology in both cases, one of the cases allows you to fold a 10-inch screen and stay at 6.65 ″. This adds an aspect ratio of 20.8: 9 and a resolution of 3K.

TCL has developed two different mechanisms which it calls DragonHinge and ButterflyHinge, they fold on the inside like the Samsung Galaxy Fold and on the outside like the Huawei Mate X. This allows it to display a triple curved shape and one side is not shown.

The other design is flexible, in which the phone expands to the sides and the screen pops out just below the body. The AMOLED panel grows from 6,75 to a 7,8-inch screen, just by pressing a button when adding a motor and it will not be able to be pushed manually.

Once we change the format, the user interface adapts to each screen, so if we make it larger, it will have a higher resolution. With that comes the improvements in multitasking and split screen. In this case there will be no wrinkles as in some smartphones today.

There is neither availability nor price

TCL has not disclosed the availability of any at the moment. of the devices, but right now it is in the testing phase to see the perfect operation. Nor is it a price, as they are conceptual designs, products still in the maturing phase and yet to be seen before going to the factories.
